Distilled pulque is a spirit made by distilling pulque, the traditional Mexican fermented drink made from the sap (aguamiel) of the maguey (agave) plant. While pulque is typically a low-alcohol (4–7%) fermented beverage, distilling it increases the alcohol content and concentrates its unique flavors.
Distilled pulque doesn't have a widely recognized name like "mezcal" or "tequila," and it's not commercially common. However, in some rural parts of Mexico, it may be referred to as: “Pulque destilado” - “Licor de pulque” - “Aguardiente de pulque”
