Hacienda de Chihuahua is a pioneering producer of sotol, a distinctive Mexican spirit crafted from the wild Dasylirion plant, also known as desert spoon. Established in 1996 by the Elias Madero family, the distillery operates from the historic Hacienda Tabalaopa in Delicias, Chihuahua, with a legacy of spirit production dating back to 1881.
Hacienda de Chihuahua offers a diverse range of sotols, each showcasing unique characteristics: RUSTICO 90 rpoof a robust expression with a higher alcohol content, highlighting the raw, earthy essence of the Dasylirion plant.  PLATIMUM is an unaged, triple-distilled, produced  slow cooking in steam-heated ovens, fermentation with champagne yeast, and distillation in copper stills.
