Gran Padre Tequila is produced at the distillery designated by NOM 1464, which is associated with Tequila Selecto de Amatitán in Jalisco. The distillery uses a 100-year mansonry oven for cooking the agave, followed by double distillation in a five-level tower. The result is a spirit with herbal and caramel notes.
